Today, after a great night’s rest, we began our day with a devotional from Wimberleigh Johnson. Her passage from Deuteronomy 7:7-9 discussed why The Lord chose the Israelites for deliverance. They were chosen not for anything they had or anything they had done. He chose them because He loved them, and because He had chosen them. Isn’t that an amazing thought? Nothing they had done. We are on mission this week, not because we are the most qualified, or even the most gifted, but because He loves us and has chosen us to be his voice this week.
I am continually amazed at the insight of these students and the depth of their Faith journeys. Thanks for your prayers. Please continue to left us up and that we be the light, face and voice of Christ everywhere we go.
