We needed to go through immigration and claim our bags in Bangkok and then recheck to Chiang Mai. I knew it was going to be close but could do nothing but trust God. When we got off the plane, we saw a lady holding a large paper with our names on it! (I secretly have always wanted that to happen.) She told us to follow her, she was taking us to our flight – and we began walking very quickly through the airport. From one end to the other. She just kept reassuring us that she would take us “there.” At immigration, she handed us a Premium line card and said she would meet us on the other side. We went straight through and got our bags and she whisked us through customs and upstairs to check in to Bangkok airway… No charge for extra bags… She delivered us to the entrance of security and sent us on our way. We actually had to wait about 15 minutes to board. The best answer we could get as to “why” is that they saw our schedule and intended to make it happen! Our God led us through the airport and parted the seas for us. It was amazing. We are still talking about it. We are weary but very well.
We are sleeping at a church tonight and will leave for the camp at 8 Monday morning. It is a 7 hour drive.
We are 12 hours ahead of you so while you are worshiping, we will be sleeping.
