First Baptist Church of San Antonio sponsors two mission trips a year to Krakow, Poland. The first is in May and the second in October. The first is primarily for college students and the second is open to all members of FBCSA. The first is not exclusive to college students, but the main focus will be working with college students in Krakow. This will be our fifth year to serve in Krakow.
Each trip will have four objectives for our team members:
1. to support the missionaries from our church, Albert and Kirsten Hesskew
2. to support Mission of Grace Baptist Church in Krakow
3. to support a professor of English at the university
4. to illustrate to our youth how far evil can go if not stopped
On your mission trip to Poland you will:
1. visit with the team in Krakow from the IMB
2. visit and assist the church there
3. spend time with college students who are preparing to teach English
4. visit the Jewish memorial, Auschwitz and Bircanau
5. visit Wawel Castle, where the kings of Poland ruled until the 16th century
If you are interested in joining one of the teams headed to Krakow this year, contact Larry Soape, Kappie Coffee, Brian Richardson or Danny Bobbitt.
