The bell right under the cross is rung 15 minutes before each chapel or church service and then right on time as it begins. As we hear the first bell, we move toward the church. My first service of 3 today was at 6:30 am – 8:30 (this one was led by the women). The second was at 10:30 – 12:30 (this was the general worship). The third was at 3:00 (this was the youth worship). At each one, I was requested to give “an encouragement.” What a beautiful privilege to be part of the service. Sarah went “on mission” with some of the youth into a part of the camp where I cannot go as a foreigner. She shared encouragement and visited in homes. It was a lovely day of ministry. Now the rain is coming down on our tin roof singing a peaceful end to the day. Please excuse me if I rush to crawl under my mosquito net and quietly enjoy the sound. It was a lovely Lords Day for us. I hope yours is just as dear. As you enjoy it, remember your brothers and sisters in this place.
