We are really tired so we will just hit you with the quick highlights of the day! Conversation at the cafe this morning went really really well. All the people who came were so eager to share their lives with us and to listen to what we had to say in return. Chris and Stephanie, one of the missionaries working with us, got the opportunity to pray with one of the ladies for her husband who is struggling with alcoholism. But thats not even the coolest part! While we were talking, a lady who was having breakfast at the cafe became interested in why all these people were speaking English. She inquired about it at the front counter and they directed her to Joe and Beca, the missionaries who have been in charge of setting this whole program up. Joe told her about what we were doing and told her about our English conversation club. She was really excited because she had been learning English but didn’t often get the opportunity to speak it. While they continued to talk she told Joe and Beca that she had found a Bible and was interested in learning about what it was saying. She had gone to the Catholic church and some churches of other denominations here in Krakow, but no one was able to tell here the deeper meaning of the words she was reading. She asked Joe if he knew of anyone who could help her understand!!! It got us really pumped up when Joe relayed the story back to us before Vox Box tonight and we hope to see her again sometime this week. At Vox Box we had several of the church members from last night return to practice more with us. They are all so enthusiastic about speaking with us. We also had some of the university students that we talked to yesterday morning come tonight for the first time! It is very exciting because we were unsure if they would take us up on our invitation or not. Tomorrow we have pretty much the same schedule, except many of us are separating to hang out with our new friends. Please pray that this extra quality time will build a good foundation to a relationship that will last longer than just this week. Also, pray for good rest because long days of moving around the city and talking a whole lot can get tiring. I would like to get a list of specific prayer requests from the church here, so please expect that tomorrow. Thank you. We are sending our love back to you from Poland.
